 I am a fan of Japanese rock band, Sakanaction.  I like to watch their NHK Educational channel's show" Sugar &Sugar" Especially,  I love the match of guessing whom the fashionable young people are fan of in the Shogi match style production and Yuichiro  Yamaguchi, the leader of Sakanaction tries to sing a song just after a hard exercise.  Sometimes silly. I introduce their most famous song, "New Treasure Island". This song was originally a theme song of the manga artist's movie" Bakuman".  It made a popular song nowadays by the major Japanese mobile company, Softbank's commercial song.  I looked forward to watching this drama cause of  planning by a Japanese famous idol producer and Japanese popular middle-aged stars. This common Korean love comedy-ish drama disappointed me.  I love well thought-out Korean comedy dramas. This Japanese starring drama needs breakthrough something.  I prefer watching real impossible co-starring drama, "Time of peace"  by once couples in real life. Facts are stranger than novels.

 I just watched last night's NHK program of 85 year-old Japanese author who won Hans Christian Andersen Awards.  Every atomosphere around her is mesmerising me including Japanese dreaming place, Kamakura, where she lives. Neverthless Japanese old people tend to choose darker clothes,  I am intersted in her bright color wordrobe. She is famous of the author of Miyazaki Anime, ”Kiki's delivery service".  I was used to read her books like small ghost series as my childhood. I was impressed by her philosophy words " memories is waiting in COVID-19 days".  This song has a huge hit in Japan now.  It reminds me of Extreme's " more than words" and lyric's self-torturing mood reminds me of 90's pop bands like Ben Falls Five.  Nevertheless It's not fresh music to me,  I can't stop to hum in doing housework recently. I looked forward to watching this drama during depressed locked down days by COVID-19.  This bottomless ridiculous and happy drama healed our exhausted family by stay-home days( to be continued now...). This theme song's music video can express plot of this drama.  I noticed this song has a beautiful lyrics. I thought this song was too loud first time even I was used to be a fan of power trio like Green Day in 90's. I wrote this song's English lyrics.  Pardon no rhymes and irresponsible translation.  This NHK drama starring Japanese star actress, Yoshiko Mita is one of my favourite dramas since COVID-19 happened.  She acts 78 years old widow as same as real her age who struggles her husband's heavy problem.  At first, I am impressed by her aging but beautiful looking cause I didn't watch her works recently. Her acting is the most powerful of another costars who have even enough acting skills.　She is a divine actress in Japan.

 My favourite television program is NHK's television documentary "Yamato Nunnery diary".  This documentary is a daily life about 3 women who live in nunnery temple in Nara prefecture's mountain side, Western Japan.   I am mesmerized by these women, Gojushoku who is a leader of the temple, Jito-san, who is another nun, and Mattsu-chan who helps the temple. They are very bright character whenever they are smile.  Their cooking style makes me think how important slow foods are. I wonder how they survive covid-19 lifestyle by their nice smile faces.  I expect new series now.
