I had been a big fan of The Academy awards since I was 13 years old. I was used to guess the awards before I couldn't even watch some nominated films in Japan and hand over the paper I wrote my bet to my mother until the oscars day when I was a teenager. Anyway, I was looking forward to watching a this year's sure bet film,"Nomadland". I recently watched it. Because I had been a long movie buff wastefully, some scenes of this film reminds me of some films such as "Days of Heaven", ”The Whale of August", and, a French film, " Vagabond ” I have a common with a leading role's husband liked DIY for a car(So does my husband), therefore, I started to synchronize Frances Macdormand's character in this film. But, Not her, I felt relieved to watch her sister's home and realized I can't live like this film. I was fully enjoyed this calm, big and beautiful American nature scenery film which recapture my past that one kind old couple in Cali...

I watched this year's SuperBowl. It was a morning in Japan time. I remembered the day of SuperBowl when I was in California. There are only non American people like me in a shopping mall at that day. I realized the reason since then.
I feel being in America every time I watch superBowl even I don't understand the rule of American football.
I really always am looking foward to watching commercials for SuperBowl in addition to Halftime show.
I enjoyed this year's funny ads as Bud light Seltzer. I was moved by the Toyota's Paralympics athlete commercial. It was beautiful.
My best SuperBowl commercial is Eminem's Chrysler commercial.
Detroit became so cool city in this ad. I would like to watch this kind of commercial in Nagoya, Japan's motor city by Toyota?!I also love to watch Matthew Broderick's Honda commercial. Is this year's GM commercial by the same creators?

My memoirs of David Lean's films
I am doing choirs while a film" Doctor Zhivago" on Japanese television now. My first film experience of a British film maestro, David Lean's works at a movie theater was " A passage to India". There were only me, my mother and a young mother with a baby child in the big cinerama system theater in Japan's motor city. The British actors' boom in Japan never happened at that time before films like " Another Country" and "Maurice" came to Japan. I was overwhelmed by his film's location and main characters' delicate feelings even I was a junior high school student who had not studied Indian history yet. I was lucky to watch his late film in the big theater on the original release date. I watched another his film "Ryan's daughter" some years later. I also was almost alone with another stranger in an empty old once adult movie theater in my town. I am wondering you'd better watch his films on the big screen wh...
Japanese nostalgy popular song, "Distance under the star sky" by THE ALFEE
I listened this song persistent repeatedly just after my best friend passed away one year ago. This band is my BFF's favorite band and everybody knows their name in Japan. This guitar trio members are different looks, one is Japanese City pop style look, one is Japanese folk song style, and another is Rococo style. I wonder they split their band as difference in music direction like typical band’s break up story. This song's theme is love song. Our friendship is not love but sister love. I always cried by the phrase,"Is it only one mistake as saying good bye, isn't it? for some reason at that time. "Distance under the star sky " by THE ALFEE A brast wind is dancing in my mind now Is it only one mistake as saying good bye, isn't it? Even there is away from 500 mile We ask each other in our minds again as night comes Distance under the star sky Burn up! Resistance of love! We get over the night that blocks us One more to harbor you.... Baby, Come back! ...
