I did my errands while watching the television which aired an American film, "The Killing Fields". This Cambodian civil war story reminds me of my teenage movie buff days.
I watched this film at the movie theater. At those days, My hometown movie theaters in Japan were screening two first showing films in one admission fee.
In addition to this tragedy documentary-touched story film, I watched Woody Allen's fantasy comedy film, " The purple rose of Cairo” together.
I cried the tragedy film, "The Killing Fields" first. Then, I watched this romantic comedy next.
I confused my feelings the two exact opposite genre movies between only 20 minutes rests.
I also watched two opposite genre movies, "Three Amigos" and "The Platoon" same time at the same theater with my friends. Luckily, this American comedy film is the first screening this time. But, The school girls were devastated by Vietnam war movie after theater and completely forget the big laugh by American comedy.
I had better appreciate two new movies in only one admission fee at that time as an once poor teen movie buff who spent all pocket money to movies in Japan.
